The UK’s largest outdoor cinema provider, Adventure Cinema returns for 2023 with the biggest ever open-air cinema tour, including a stop at Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham.
The tour sees the screening of the best of 2022 when Adventure Cinema will pop up with over 250 shows in more than 70 enchanting spaces nationwide. New stops include Scotland’s Dalkeith Country Park, Scone Palace and Dumfries House (The HQ of The Prince’s Foundation), as well as new venues in the New Forest, Salisbury, Derbyshire, Greater Manchester and many more. Whether under the stars in breathtaking National Trust sites, mediaeval castles or a beautiful country estate, Adventure Cinema provides an unforgettable cinema experience in the great British outdoors.
As part of an incredible summer season, Adventure Cinema will transport new award-winning Top Gun: Maverick (July 23) to a magical setting. The first chance to catch the latest film starring Tom Cruise in the great outdoors, the Top Gun: Maverick screenings are made for those with a thirst for action-packed drama with a good slice of 80’s nostalgia.
Also new to the tour is box office hit Elvis (July 21) starring Tom Hanks and directed by Baz Luhrmann, who is behind The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge!, William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and more.
Classic 80’s movie, Dirty Dancing (July 22) will ensure you will have the time of your life.
For those who love a feel-good film, or who are looking to entertain the whole family, Adventure Cinema will be screening Matilda The Musical (July 23) and Disney’s Encanto (July 22).
Whether packing a picnic to share with pals or to enjoy a big family outing, Adventure Cinema’s destinations also offer a variety of on-site food and drink options. Guests can relax and sit back with snacks to enjoy the show.
