Gulliver’s Valley hosts birthday parties for Very Hungry Caterpillars!

The star of an iconic children’s book and brand will be at Gulliver’s Valley this summer for smiles, selfies and to thrill families.

The Rotherham theme park resort will welcome The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the favorite friendly character from the illustrated book by Eric Carle, for daily appearances and meet and greets.

The classic book, a hit with grown-ups and children alike, has sold more than 54 million copies worldwide.

There is also the chance to have a unique celebration with a The Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party. The themed parties, exclusive to Gulliver’s Valley, offer two hours of fun in the park before feasting upon a party platter of delicious food and meeting the world’s most famous caterpillar.

All the resort’s usual rides and attractions will also be open throughout summer, with something to suit all ages (and thrill levels) across Gully Town, Lost World, Smugglers Wharf and more.

Gulliver’s Valley also features a fantastic selection of themed accommodation, including the jawsome Megalodon Lodge and magical Princess Suites.

There’s also plenty happening this summer at Gulliver’s other three UK resorts. Bing and Flop and Lampo and Milady from 44 Cats will be at Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes, Bing and Flop and Tiny and Small Clanger will be at Gulliver’s World in Warrington and iconic Beano duo Dennis and Gnasher will be making daily appearances at Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath.

Andy Flowers, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley, said: “This summer at Gulliver’s Valley just got even more exciting and we can’t wait for guests to meet the friendly and colourful Very Hungry Caterpillar.

“As well as meeting the iconic character, we have a wide range of rides, attractions, activities and accommodation which make Gulliver’s Valley the perfect choice for a summer break or family fun day.

“Our first weekend of the holidays has proved to be really popular and went down so well with our customers, we can’t wait to carry on the fun over the next few weeks.”
