Jubilee events at Yorkshire’s Hidden Gems

Yorkshire’s Hidden Gems are hosting a number of regal events to celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over the coming days.

On Sunday 5 June, pack up your picnic and head to Clifton Park for brilliant live entertainment and loads of fun to enjoy with family and friends from 11am until 4pm, as part of The Big Jubilee Lunch. Onsite food outlets will be open and serving tasty treats throughout the day too!

Khula African Arts Singers will be there and Playful Anywhere will be bringing their giant play box. Fun walkabouts and workshops will also be taking place.

At Magna Science Adventure Centre this Spring Bank includes the re-launch of Aqua-Tek, exciting workshops, a trail and a colouring competition. While exploring the 4 pavilions – Air, Earth, Fire and Water, look out for science questions and unscramble the answers to discover the secret word.

In creative family workshops you can create your own grass head! Workshops are FREE with your Magna Science admission ticket, book your place at reception when checking in.

At Wentworth Woodhouse you can enjoy Afternoon Tea in the beautiful Long Gallery. Enjoy with a glass of fizz, overlooking the gardens and toast to Her Majesty The Queen’s 70 years of service. Jubilee Picnics are available to enjoy in the Gardens and for the little ones, there is a free House Trail and virtual Hide & Find Game.

As well as the thrilling rides and attractions, there are supersized celebrations at Gulliver’s Valley with fun-filled adventures with a royal twist including street parties, Best of British stage shows and majestic entertainment; hosted by Queen Bee making an extra special buzz!
